A short beach walk will take you into Puerto Banus. The general infrastructure in the region has greatly improved. The completion of the new motorway has greatly reduced the travel time from Malaga to Gibraltar.
Malaga Airport is a 40 minute drive away. The villa is just over a mile from Marbella and half a mile from Puerto Banus. It is only a one and a half hour drive away from the city of Granada – well worth a visit artistically and historically.
There are 30 golf courses on the Costa del Sol. Sailing clubs and luxury hotels can be found in and around Marbella as well as two Bull Rings that hold bullfights throughout the year. The Promenade to Marbella takes about 30 minutes to walk or 15 minutes by bicycle. Puerto Banus is a 15 minute walk on the beach or else 5 minutes by car.
