The property has two buildings: the main villa & the cottage and can accommodate up to 20 people. It’s surrounded by two hectares of land. A beautiful Mediterranean Garden filled with Rosemary, Lavender, Rose Bushes and with expansive views towards the cities of Perugia, Todi, Montecastello di Vibio (where there is the smallest theatre at the world) and Collelungo Village.
Accommodations: Completely restored this rental villa retains most of its original features while paying special attention to details: all floors are in hand made "Terracotta" Tiles and Ceilings have only Chestnut Beams. The rooms are colored in soft tones and all of the Furniture is Antique; with very refined interiors.
The property has Ten spacious and prestigious rooms (one is equipped for people with special needs opening on a private terrace) individually styled, decorated and all furnished with great attention to detail in order to offer a serene atmosphere.
All the rooms are equipped with every modern comfort: Telephone, SAT TV, DVD & CD, Internet Access, Air Conditioning and a Safe. Each room offers views over the surrounding countryside; all accessed by a stunning staircase.
Ten large and luxurious contemporary en suite Bathrooms are all made from a mixture of Marble, Mosaic, Terra Cotta Tiles and ancient Vietri Tiles. Two of the Baths have Large Showers and Baths; 3 have Large Showers and 4 have a Bath Tub. All Bathrooms are furnished with Bathrobes, Slippers and a Hair Dryer. There is also 1 Bathrooms equipped for the Disabled.
The Main Building has, at ground floor, two lovely Covered Terraces where Guests can take their meals, read a book, sip a glass of Prosecco Wine at Sunset or simply Sunbathe. On the same floor there is a nice Reception Area, a large Dining Room with a Stone Fireplace, a Living Room (with SAT TV, DVD & CD) and a Professional Kitchen that’s fully equipped .
On the First Floor are 4 rooms all with a wonderful view and a Living Room with a working Fireplace. There are also other rooms for Dining on the Second Floor. This Floor shows part of the Ceilings Painted with Frescos from a Local Artist.
The Basement has a Stone “Taverna," with a wonderful Terra Cotta Fireplace; ideal for wine tasting sessions or just relaxing.
Interesting Facts: The lovely Stone Cottage was originally a small country church dedicated to S. Girolamo. It has Two Bedrooms, a Living Room with a Terracotta Fireplace, a Dining Room with a great view of the Tiber valley and a fully equipped Kitchen. There is a stunning Infinity Swimming Pool (18m x 8 m) and an Herb Garden filled with Lavender, Rosemary and Mediterranean Plants. A furnished Sun/Dining Terrace is also at the disposal of our guests. The houses are located in the countryside close to Todi; just off a very quiet and easily accessible country road. It’s a perfect base for exploring Renaissance Italy including the local town of Orvieto, Todi, Assisi, Gubbio or even the neighboring Tuscany Towns of Cortona and Arezzo. Even closer are many lesser known but beautiful Hilltop Towns and Renaissance Areas to Discover; like Montecastello di Vibio with the smallest theatre of the world, Bevagna or Montefalco - the town of Sagrantino Wine.
The property is a perfect location for weddings, honey moon and special occasions; (a wedding service can be arranged) and the villa and the cottage can be rented separately.
Activities can be strenuous or relaxing as our guests like: site on the terrace and watch the wonderful sunset, play Golf (Perugia Golf Course has 18 holes and is only a half hour by car), Tennis, Cycling or Cycling to the local town to Play Tennis. There are also Mountain Biking, Hiking and Horse Back Riding Trails.
