Most major tourist attractions in the South Hams are usually only 10-20 minutes drive away, including shops, restaurants, pubs, beaches, golf courses and towns such as Kingsbridge, Dartmouth and Salcombe. Located deep in the Avon Valley which virtually guarantees privacy and seclusion for you and your family should you need it.
The River Avon runs a distance of 23 miles from its source in Dartmoor to its estuary at Bigbury on Sea. It is a clean and fast flowing river that supports a host of wildlife including Atlantic Salmon. During Autumn when the river is in spate, Salmon and Sea Trout enter the river to spawn. Fly Fishing and spinning for Salmon is available to guests from September to November (day permits required).
