The Villa is a splendid seventeenth century manor house in the lush wine-making area between Brescia and the little Lake of D’Iseo, known for its sparkling white wines and deep dark reds.
Aristocratic Palaces, Medieval Towers and Ancient Abbeys abound in this area and it’s a splendid walking around and exploring this historic landmarks. There are many ways to get around including horseback riding, conventional bicycles and mountain bikes. Set in a small area the villa is within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and historical Places. In the historic wine-producing area between Brescia, 25km/16 miles, and Lake d’Iseo, 9km/6 miles. Shops and Restaurants are within walking distance in Palafreno; home to The Abbey of San Pietro in Lamosa at Provaglio d’Iseo. This is a must-see
as there are unique peat moss beds nearby (7km/5 miles). The beautiful village of Sirmione on Lake Garda is only a 45-minute drive.

Shaded Portico along the length of the house offers a grand setting for al fresco meals and lounging in the shade.
The Private Swimming Pool is set in the villa’s Fenced Garden that has a remote-controlled cover for safety.
Ground Floor:
A sitting room with SAT TV has a huge frescoed ceiling and comfortable furniture.
A second large sitting room has TV with a lovely Wood Burning Fireplace. The separate Dining Room has seating for 20 guests. The well equipped Kitchen has a doorway leading to the main street of the village (convenient for buying vendors foods and supplies in days gone by) and there is a huge Pantry with three large Refrigerators and a Freezer. A Small Study follows that leads out to a covered Portico running the length
of the house facing the Gardens and is furnished for Lounging or Dining.
Upper Ground Floor :
A 14 step stairway leads to a full Bathroom then divides in to 2 wings.
First Floor of Left Wing:
2 Double Bedrooms with Private Baths and a Double Bedroom with a beautiful Frescoed Ceiling and a Twin Bedroom follow and share a full Bathroom.
Another Double Bedroom with a Private Bath has a Shower Room.
First Floor of Right Wing:
There is a Single Bedroom with Frescoed Ceiling a private Bath and a Laundry Room.
The grounds are very nicely maintained and the Gardens are enclosed by hedges and shrubs for privacy.
The swimming pool, 6 x 12m/20 x 40 feet has a
diving board with a security cover and is set just outside the house, next to a large Annex with Ping-Pong and Mini Soccer

Good to Know:
Not far away there’s a Riding School that you can take walks by to see (perhaps rent?) the horses. About 20 km down the road, you can visit Garda Lake with its many water activities and beautiful groves of Pine Trees.
In “Peschiera del Garda”, very close to the villa, there is Garda Land, a theme park for children.
About 5 km from there is a 27 hole golf course called Franciacorta.
