The Aqua suite has a large master bedroom with direct access to the swimming pool and a second floor en suite bathroom and dressing area. The rest of the suite comprises a children’s twin bunk room with access to the “secret” attic playroom, a cabin single and a shower room.

There is an excellent kitchen with breakfast area, Aga, wok burner, microwave, coffee machine, dishwasher American style fridge/freezer. There is a seperate boot room and laundry room.

The main barn has a sitting area, dining area, bar and library.These areas are fully equipped with  Sky TV, HiFi, DVD and WiFi broadband.

There is an indoor swimming pool with sliding glass walls and sitting area. Also provided is Spa room with treatment couch.

The design

The house was first designed and constructed in 1991 by Architect Roderick James and Carpenter Oak Buildings – both of Grand Designs fame.

It has subsequently been extended in the same style by the current owner to include additional accommodation  and
indoor swimming pool and to create a “barn house minimalism” feel to the whole property.

The emphasis is to create a calm and tranquil space in which to relax and enjoy the spectacular views. Built from stone, oak, fir and lots of glass the house sits well in its natural surroundings It is decorated throughout with elegant simplicity using local and Italian furniture and it houses the owner’s collection of contemporary art.

Walking in the grounds, swimming and chilling may be all you need but the house manager, can arrange all sorts of relaxing and indulgent activities including:
