Completely restored at the end of July 2006 by the owners retaining most of the original features with exquisite attention to details: all floors are in hand made "terracotta" tiles, and ceiling in chestnut beams. The property (two buildings: the main villa and the cottage) can accommodate up to 20 people .It is surrounded by two hectares of land. A beautiful Mediterranean garden filled with rosemary, lavander, rose brushes and with expansive views towards the city of Perugia, Todi, Montecastello di Vibio (the smallest theatre at the world), Collelungo Village.
The property has ten spacious and prestigious rooms (one is equipped for people with special needs opening in a private terrace) individually styled, decorated and all furnished with great attention to detail in order to offer a serene atmosphere.
All the rooms are equipped with every modern comfort: telephone, flat TV screen, Internet access, air conditioning, safe, and satellite channel.
Each room offers views over the surrounding countryside all accessed by a stunning staircase.
Ten large and luxurious contemporary en suite bathrooms are all made from a mixture of marble, mosaique,cotto tiles and ancient Vietri tiles. Two of them have large showers and bath, 3 have a large showers and 4 have a bath tube. All bathrooms are furnished with bathrobes,slippers and hair dryer.1 bathrooms is equipped for disabled people.
The main building has at ground floor two lovely and spectacular covered terraces where guests ,during the summer ,can have their meals ,read a book or sip a glass of Prosecco wine or simply watch the sunset.
At the same floor there are a nice reception,a large dining room with a stone fireplace , a living room to relax or to have a tea or a coffee and a an professional kitchen fully equipped .
At the first floor there are 4 rooms all with a wonderful view and a living room with a working fireplace,Other for rooms and a dining room are at the second floor. This floor shows part of the ceilings painted from a local artist following the traditional models.
At the basement there is a stone "taverna" , ideal for wine tasting sessions, with a wonderful "terracotta" working fireplace.
The lovely stone cottage was originally a small country church dedicated to S. Girolamo .It has two bedrooms, one charming living room with a nice terracotta fireplace , a dining room with a wonderful view on the Tiber valley and a fully equipped kitchen.
Jewel of the property is the stunning infinitiy swimming pool ( 18mt x 8 mt) and a herb garden full of lavander,rosemary and mediterranean plants. A furnished sun terrace is at disposal of our guests.
The houses are located in the countryside close to Todi town just off a very quiet and easily accessible country road.
It is a perfect base for exploring Renaissance Italy including the local town of Orvieto,Todi,Assisi,Gubbio not forgetting the neighbouring Tuscany towns of Cortona and Arezzo.Even closer there are many lesser known but beautiful hilltop towns and renaissance treasures to discover like Montecastello di Vibio with the smallest theatre of the world,Bevagna or Montefalco the town of Sagrantino wine

Guests can also have the great and exclusive experience to be protagonist of a typical fall event :the grape harvest ..For those in need of shop therapy we organise daily trips to the most important Italian stylist outlets: Armani,Prada,Gucci etc and Cachemere tours.( Umbria is one of the worldwide most important areas for cachemire)with a personal shopper.
Breakfast ,lunch or dinner can be provided daily for the guests:cakes are freshely baked on a daily basis using traditional recipes .All food is prepared using the freshest seasonal products accompanied by a top level wine cellar with a selection of wine from throughout Italy.
