Italian luxury villa - Built in 1600 as a convent, Villa Freddana sits in the hills near Lucca with stunning views of the La Freddana valley below. The building, set over three floors, has been sympathetically restored with great care and attention to detail so as to retain the historic and atmospheric feel of this special house. The bedrooms are all equally proportioned and decorated, making this a superb villa for large parties. Most bedrooms offer stunning views.
It has been decorated in traditional Tuscan style, with warm colours and antique wooden furniture. Polished wooden and terracotta floors flow throughout the property.
The large living room and kitchen have ample space, with superb views from the living room bay windows. The kitchen (originally the lemon house) is spacious and full of character. Villa Freddana is available all year and is ideal for wedding celebrations owing to the church within the grounds.
The unobtrusive and charming owners live in a separate wing of the property and are available to assist guests as required. A professional cook is also available and can prepare local Tuscan meals upon prior request.

The owners live in the adjacent wing. Their terrace abuts the exit from the kitchen, limiting complete privacy. Pool access passes in front of their terrace. There is a dining/seating area on this level, with views of the valley below and an ample sized lawn area.
The swimming pool is on a lower level, again with wonderful views of the valley and the local church. Pool house with shower and WC.
There are two resident cats and one dog.
